Loganville is in western Walton County, with the city limits extending west into southeastern Gwinnett County. [[U.S. Route 78]] (Atlanta Highway) passes through the center of town, leading east {{convert|5|mi|}} to [[Monroe, Georgia|Monroe]], the Walton County seat, and west {{convert|32|mi}} to downtown [[Atlanta]]. [[Georgia State Route 20]] leads northwest from Loganville {{convert|10|mi|0}} to [[Lawrenceville, Georgia|Lawrenceville]], the Gwinnett County seat, and southwest {{convert|15|mi}} to [[Conyers, Georgia|Conyers]]. [[Georgia State Route 81]] leads northeast {{convert|16|mi}} to [[Winder, Georgia|Winder]] and south {{convert|18|mi}} to [[Covington, Georgia|Covington]].
