Hillsboro's only [[Town twinning|sister city]] relationship is with [[Fukuroi, Shizuoka|Fukuroi]],<ref>{{cite news |date=November 13, 2008 |title=Graphics |work=The Oregonian |page=R15}}</ref> a city of about 85,000 residents in the [[Shizuoka Prefecture]] in central Japan.
