===Delicacies===

Certain Cantonese delicacies consist of parts taken from rare or endangered animals, which raises controversy{{according to whom|date=June 2024}} over [[animal rights]] and [[Environmental issues in China|environmental issues]]. This is often{{according to whom|date=March 2015}} due to alleged health benefits of certain animal products.
