Sundsvall Municipality

Sundsvall Municipality (Template:Langx) is a municipality in Västernorrland County, northern Sweden, where the city Sundsvall is the seat.

As most municipalities of Sweden, Sundsvalls kommun is a result of a series of amalgamations, carried out in 1952 and in the period 1965–1974. The number of original entities (existing in 1863) is thirteen.

In total there were 76,665 Swedish citizens of voting age resident in the municipality.<ref name=SundsvallVal2022/> 53.6% voted for the left coalition and 45.3% for the right coalition. Indicators are in percentage points except population totals and income.
