Nausinous

Template:Short description In Greek mythology, Nausinous Template:IPAc-en (Template:Langx) was the son of Odysseus and Calypso. In Theogony by Hesiod, he is said to have a brother named Nausithous.

While stranded on Ogygia, Odysseus was forced to become the lover of Calypso.<ref>Homer, Odyssey, book 1</ref> According to Hesiod, this union resulted in two sons, named Nausinous and Nausithous.<ref>Hesiod, Theogony trans. Athanassakis 1017-1018</ref> Neither Nausinous nor his brother are mentioned in Homer's Odyssey.
