Carp Lake Township is the westernmost municipality in the United States to use Eastern Standard Time.
Geography
[edit]According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of Template:Convert, of which Template:Convert is land and Template:Convert (0.33%) is water. It is the westernmost municipality in the United States to be in the Eastern Time Zone.
The township contains a substantial shoreline on Lake Superior.
