Dooling is a town in Dooly County, Georgia, United States. The population was 68 at the 2020 census.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref>
History
[edit]The Georgia General Assembly incorporated the place in 1907 as the "Town of Dooling".<ref>Template:Cite book</ref> The community was named after the maiden name of Ellen Dooling, the wife of a first settler.<ref>Template:Cite book</ref> A post office called Dooling was established in 1890, and remained in operation until 1960.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref>
Geography
[edit]Dooling is located in northwestern Dooly County at Template:Coord (32.229962, -83.928311).<ref name="GR1">Template:Cite web</ref> It is Template:Convert southeast of Montezuma, the nearest city, Template:Convert west of Unadilla, and Template:Convert northwest of Vienna, the Dooly County seat.
