Keysville, Georgia

Keysville is a town in Burke and Jefferson counties in the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2020 census, the city's population was 300.

History

The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Keysville as a town in 1890.<ref>Template:Cite book</ref> In 1933, the government was dissolved although its charter was not revoked.<ref name=Treadwell>Template:Cite news</ref> In late 1990, the government was reconstituted.<ref>Template:Cite news</ref>

Keysville is located at Template:Coord (33.235293, −82.231687),<ref name="GR1">Template:Cite web</ref> Template:Convert southwest of downtown Augusta.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of Template:Convert, of which Template:Convert, or 2.08%, is water.<ref name="Census 2010">Template:Cite web</ref>

Keysville first appeared in the 1930 U.S. Census.<ref name=1930CensusGA/> It did not appear in the 1960 U.S. Census, the 1970 U.S. Census, or the 1980 U.S. Census,<ref name=1980CensusGA/> It reappeared in the 1990 U.S. Census.<ref name=2000CensusGA/>
