Keystone is a home rule town<ref>Template:Cite web</ref> located in Summit County, Colorado, United States. The town is a part of the Breckenridge, CO Micropolitan Statistical Area. Keystone residents voted to incorporate on March 28, 2023, becoming a municipality on February 8, 2024.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref> The municipality includes the Keystone Resort and Keystone Village. The population of the former Keystone census-designated place (CDP) was 1,369 at the United States Census 2020.<ref name="Census 2020" /> However, the boundary of the current municipality encompasses a smaller geographic area than the boundary of the former CDP; as of 2022 the population of the municipality was estimated to be 995. The Dillon post office Template:Nowrap serves Keystone postal addresses.<ref name="ZIPcode" />

Keystone Resort
[edit]Template:Unreferenced section Keystone Resort was originally constructed in the 1970s by the Ralston Purina Company. It is now owned by Vail Resorts. The Keystone Resort ski area occupies 3 separate mountains: Dercum Mountain, North Peak, and The Outback. Recent expansion of terrain and services offers snowcat skiing in Independence Bowl, Bergman Bowl, Erickson Bowl, in addition to the existing North Bowl and South Bowl on Wapiti Peak. The resort has many summer and winter outdoor activities. The winter activities include alpine skiing, snowboarding, tubing, ice-skating, cross-country skiing, horse-drawn sleigh ride dinners, and snowmobiling. The summer activities include hiking, mountain biking, fishing, trail running, golf on two championship courses, and paddle boating on Keystone Lake.
