==Hello==
I am don't imagine I will be very active here.  I am definitely committed to Wikisource and I already have more projects in mind than I can complete there.  Not even counting the time it takes to keep up with foundation issues (which is unfortunately necessary).  But I probably will pop-in and check on policy stuff.  At Wikisource it is hard to get people to chime in on policy issues, much less find dissenting voices.  So I tend to watch other projects to find a wider opinions on policies.  Still I hope to find an exciting program here that I can't resist taking part in at some point.  Another WS contributer put a note [http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Wikiversity:Colloquium#Documentary_Hypothesis] about some work being done at WS which I think might be more suited for a research project here.  It really doesn't fit the inclusion guidelines at WS.  I would appreciate it if you could take a look.  Let me know if you have any questions.--[[User:BirgitteSB|BirgitteSB]] 01:42, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Hello all, it's great to finally have Wikiversity up and running! I'm so looking forward to working on this project - but am pretty busy over the next month with my dissertation (about Wikiversity ;-)). I'll be happy to answer any questions about the project - I've been pretty active in getting this project started. Looking forward to working with you! Cormaggio 08:19, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Bureaucrat

I was made an English Wikiversity bureaucrat as a temporary measure on the project's first day, and, at time of writing, still hold that (lonesome) position. If you need any assistance, leave me a message on my talk page. If it's a general custodian (ie "admin") query, you'd probably be better off with Wikiversity:Request custodian action, as I'm really not the most active custodian here.

Some things I need to do..

  • Write research-related guidelines (eg. Wikiversity:Research and on Beta)
  • Help out on providing a comprehensive and easy-to-follow tutorial on what Wikiversity is, and how you can contribute and/or benefit from it.
  • Help in providing a framework for building Wikiversity, which I don't really think exists yet (so far, it's a bit piece-meal, and particular learning materials are connected with particular pedagogies, without making that explicit)
  • Work on Media literacy (and all my other interests), hopefully learning about what will work on Wikiversity through that process
  • Metadata - what's happening on that front, I wonder..?
  • Finish this essay - get some sleep..
