What is Wikiversity?

Wikiversity is a space for the creation and use of free learning materials and activities. Its primary goals are to:

Create and host free-content, multimedia learning materials and resources, for all age groups in all languages
Develop collaborative learning projects and communities around these materials

Wikiversity serves both students and teachers. For further details about Wikiversity, see an outline of our policies.

IRC Discussions: Join us on #wikiversity(on Freenode) to discuss how this project will be put together. (also, #wikiversity-en for issues specific to the English language Wikiversity)
Wikiversity Service Projects: One way of moving Wikiversity forward is to create a set of core services that will support the efforts other Wikimedia sister projects. Some Wikiversity service projects have been developed at the education wikia.
