Eugenio Tavolara

He is well known for his hand-crafted "toys", most prominently small statues in terracotta representing Sardinians in traditional costumes.<ref name="Altea 1994">Template:Cite book</ref><ref name="Altea 2005">Template:Cite book</ref> In a 2007 tribute exhibition, 14 Sardian artists reinterpreted his works.<ref name="Omaggio">Template:Cite web</ref>
