Unless it violates some rule I am unaware of, in which case please indicate this to me, I do not care whether others find my reasoning appropriate, so long as they understand it. In any case, I see no justification for removing indications that I've edited on projects that will be affected by the proposal while leaving hundreds of other indications on the very same page. As stated in my edit, I feel my activity on other projects makes my vote and reasoning particularly persuasive, and intend to maintain my vote/reasoning until such time as its shown to be improper. As you've not provided any citations nor analysis showing my edits are inappropriate, I intend to reinstate them unless there exists some policy I'm unaware of which would councel against this. Finally, I don't like your threats, and makes it more difficult for me to try and learn from this in a calm, detached manner. With no explanation nor prior request to not readd my argument, you threaten to block me for doing so. This does nothing to allow me to identify what behavior is problematic and why, so that I may avoid it in the future- in this proposal and in other discussions. I try to be a nice guy, and think I've been courteous to you... maybe we should start over and you could simply let me know what the problem is and how I can avoid any such problem in the future (i.e. where I should look for an explanation of what rule I violated and how to avoid this in the future). My note said I edited wikis that would be affected. I have. That has nothing to do with the source of voting eligibility on a particular proposal. While it seems irrelevant to me, I checked and the very first person with a box and comment like the one I want also has no eligibility from an affected project, and this is probably the first guy people check when running through the votes. I'm sure there's plenty more examples. Simply put: I didn't say I had independent eligibility to vote from an affected project, and therefore the absence of such doesn't render my statement incorrect.

I tend to consider myself a fairly clueful person, but even after reading through the pages about Usurps and name changes, I'm still confused. :) I'd like to swipe [http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Tarc this account] over at Commons for myself (its possible/likely that I even created it back in 2006 but have no idea what the pw is) , but I'm unsure if I should create a ''new'' account first and then make the usurp request?
