  • curprev 03:2603:26, 15 February 2025 imported>Nagging Prawn 19,962 bytes +19,962 Taxonomy: as long as treeshrews are monophyletic, they will always have their own clade, just as pterosaurs are both their own clade, and also cousins to the clade dinosauria; changed the word to Order instead; additionally, phylogenetics can only unveil relationships, i.e. treeshrews being sister to the concestor of colugos and primates; whether treeshrews stay in primatomorpha, basal to colugos and primates, or are non-primatomorph euarchontans just outside it, is a book-keeping decision
