Zeeland was founded in 1902 by [[Dutch American|Dutch]] settlers. As of the [[census]] of 2010, there were 86 people, 48 households, and 25 families residing in the city. The [[population density]] was {{convert|286.7|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 99 housing units at an average density of {{convert|330.0|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 98.8% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]] and 1.2% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]]. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.2% of the population.

There were 48 households, out of which 14.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.7% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 8.3% had a female householder with no husband present, 2.1% had a male householder with no wife present, and 47.9% were non-families. 45.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 22.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.79 and the average family size was 2.44.

The racial makeup of the city was 98.58% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.71% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 0.71% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.71% of the population.
