The [[population density]] was 9.3 people per square mile (3.6/km<sup>2</sup>). There were 183 housing units at an average density of 4.6 per square mile (1.8/km<sup>2</sup>). The racial makeup of the town was 97.57% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.08% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.54% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 0.81% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.81% of the population. There were 155 households, out of which 27.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.9% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 6.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.7% were non-families. 22.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.39 and the average family size was 2.81. In the town, the population was spread out, with 23.2% under the age of 18, 2.7% from 18 to 24, 26.2% from 25 to 44, 27.0% from 45 to 64, and 20.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 44 years. For every 100 females, there were 101.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 110.4 males. The median income for a household in the town was $29,038, and the median income for a family was $35,000. Males had a median income of $21,719 versus $18,333 for females. There are hardwood and pine forests, bluffs and wetlands. Many forest animals typical of Wisconsin take refuge here, along with seasonal migratory birds.
