At the 2000 [[census]],<ref name="GR2" /> there were 831 people, 257 households and 224 families residing in the village. The population density was {{convert|2,286.7|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. There were 268 housing units at an average density of {{convert|737.5|/sqmi|/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. The racial makeup of the village was 98.44% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.36% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.72% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.36% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 0.12% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 2.17% of the population.

There were 257 households, of which 45.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 83.7% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 2.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 12.8% were non-families. 12.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
