Woodbury borders [[Laurel Hollow, New York|Laurel Hollow]] to the north, [[Plainview, New York|Plainview]] to the south, [[Syosset, New York|Syosset]] to the west, and [[Cold Spring Harbor, New York|Cold Spring Harbor]], [[West Hills, New York|West Hills]] and [[South Huntington, New York|South Huntington]] to the east. The population density was {{convert|1,781.9|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. There were 2,895 housing units at an average density of {{convert|572.5|/sqmi|/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. The racial makeup of the CDP was 90.87% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.98% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.06% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 7.06% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.01% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.28% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 0.75% from two or more races.
