==Geography==
Willow Springs is in northern Lafayette County, bordered by [[Iowa County, Wisconsin|Iowa County]] to the north. According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the town has a total area of {{convert|124.9|sqkm|order=flip}}, all of it recorded as land.<ref name="CenPopGazetteer2020"/> It is drained by two south-flowing waterways: the [[Pecatonica River]] in the west, and Otter Creek, its tributary, in the east.

==Demographics==
As of the [[census]]<ref name="GR2" /> of 2000, there were 632 people, 230 households, and 178 families residing in the town. The [[population density]] was 13.1 people per square mile (5.1/km<sup>2</sup>). There were 237 housing units at an average density of 4.9 per square mile (1.9/km<sup>2</sup>). The racial makeup of the town was 96.68% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.16% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.32% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 1.74% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 1.11% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 2.37% of the population.

There were 230 households, out of which 35.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 69.1% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 4.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.2% were non-families. 20.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.75 and the average family size was 3.18.

In the town, the population was spread out, with 25.6% under the age of 18, 10.8% from 18 to 24, 24.8% from 25 to 44, 28.0% from 45 to 64, and 10.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females, there were 110.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 117.6 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $41,094, and the median income for a family was $46,500. Males had a median income of $30,000 versus $24,861 for females.
