The [[population density]] was {{convert|610.8|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 159 housing units at an average density of {{convert|244.6|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 96.2% [[White (U.S. Census)|white]], 0.3% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 1.5% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], and 2.0% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 3.0% of the population.

The racial makeup of the city was 97.15% [[White (U.S. Census)|white]], 1.71% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], and 1.14% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.57% of the population.

The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females, there were 87.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 82.6 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $23,393, and the median income for a family was $25,000. Males had a median income of $21,354 versus $21,364 for females. ==Education==
Williamsburg is served by West Franklin [[Unified School District|USD]] 287 public school district. [[West Franklin High School]] is located in Pomona. The School District includes K-5 schools in Williamsburg and [[Appanoose Township, Franklin County, Kansas|Appanoose Township]].
