It is bordered to the north by the borough of [[Belmar, New Jersey|Belmar]] and to the east by the borough of [[Lake Como, New Jersey|Lake Como]]. The borough of [[Spring Lake Heights, New Jersey|Spring Lake Heights]] touches the southeast corner of the CDP, and [[New Jersey Route 35|Route 35]] (River Road) forms the CDP's western boundary. Route 35 leads north into Belmar and south {{convert|6|mi|0}} to [[Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey|Point Pleasant Beach]]. [[New Jersey Route 71|Route 71]] runs through the east side of the CDP, leading north into Belmar and south through Spring Lake Heights to [[Sea Girt, New Jersey|Sea Girt]] and [[Manasquan, New Jersey|Manasquan]]. [[New Jersey Route 138|Route 138]], the eastern continuation of [[Interstate 195 (New Jersey)|Interstate 195]], has its eastern terminus at [[New Jersey Route 70|Route 70]] on the border of West Belmar.
