Weatherby was laid out in 1885 by L. H. ==Geography==
Weatherby is located on [[Missouri Route 6]] six miles east of [[Maysville, Missouri|Maysville]] and two miles west of the  Dekalb-[[Daviess County, Missouri|Daviess]] county line. The [[population density]] was {{convert|891.7|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 58 housing units at an average density of {{convert|483.3|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the village was 99.1% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]] and 0.9% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]].

There were 41 households, of which 36.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.5% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 22.0% had a female householder with no husband present, 4.9% had a male householder with no wife present, and 31.7% were non-families. 22.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.61 and the average family size was 3.04.

There were 52 households, out of which 26.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.9% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 11.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 36.5% were non-families. 32.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.37 and the average family size was 3.09.

In the town the population was spread out, with 25.2% under the age of 18, 7.3% from 18 to 24, 21.1% from 25 to 44, 28.5% from 45 to 64, and 17.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females, there were 98.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.7 males.
