'''Waverly''' is a city in [[Lafayette County, Missouri|Lafayette County]], [[Missouri]], and part of the [[Kansas City metropolitan area]] within the United States. The population was 849 at the [[2010 United States Census|2010 census]].

Waverly is the location of Baltimore Bend Winery, one of the many small wineries established in the state since the 1960s. The [[Waverly Bridge (Missouri)|Waverly Bridge]] over the [[Missouri River]] is located near here.
It is also home to General [[Jo Shelby]], a hemp farmer who joined the Confederate cause in 1861.{{citation needed|date=April 2023}}

The racial makeup of the city was 94.5% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 2.1% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.2% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.2% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 2.1% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 0.8% from two or more races.
