Warba is along the [[Swan River (northern Minnesota)|Swan River]]. It is 14 miles east-southeast of [[Grand Rapids, Minnesota|Grand Rapids]].

The [[population density]] was {{convert|56.4|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 90 housing units at an average density of {{convert|28.0|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 97.2% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]] and 2.8% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]].

There were 77 households, of which 29.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 44.2% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 10.4% had a female householder with no husband present, 6.5% had a male householder with no wife present, and 39.0% were non-families. 31.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.35 and the average family size was 2.83.

The median age in the city was 37.8 years. 23.8% of residents were under the age of 18; 7.1% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 23.3% were from 25 to 44; 34.7% were from 45 to 64; and 11% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 49.2% male and 50.8% female.

There were 86 housing units at an average density of {{convert|26.9|/sqmi|/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}.  The racial makeup of the city was 98.36% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], and 1.64% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.64% of the population.

There were 79 households, out of which 31.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.5% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 11.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.6% were non-families. 22.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.  The average household size was 2.32 and the average family size was 2.69.

In the city, the population was spread out, with 23.5% under the age of 18, 9.3% from 18 to 24, 31.7% from 25 to 44, 19.1% from 45 to 64, and 16.4% who were 65 years of age or older.  The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females, there were 105.6 males.  For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 102.9 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $27,500, and the median income for a family was $31,250. Males had a median income of $21,429 versus $16,250 for females. About 14.3% of families and 19.6% of the population were below the [[poverty line]], including 26.2% of those under the age of eighteen and none of those 65 or over.
