The [[2020 United States census]] reported that Valley Ranch had a population of 128. The population density was {{convert|112.6|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. The racial makeup of Valley Ranch was 123 (96.1%) [[White Americans|White]], 2 (1.6%) [[Native Americans in the United States|Native American]], 2 (1.6%) [[Asian Americans|Asian]], and 1 (0.8%) from two or more races.
