==Demographics==
As of the [[census]]<ref name="GR2" /> of 2000, there were 131 people, 59 households, and 41 families residing in the township. The [[population density]] was 1.6 per square mile (0.6/km{{sup|2}}). There were 139 housing units at an average density of 1.7 per square mile (0.6/km{{sup|2}}). The racial makeup of the township was 95.42% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 3.05% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.76% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 0.76% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.76% of the population.

There were 59 households, out of which 18.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.1% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 3.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.5% were non-families. 27.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.22 and the average family size was 2.68.

In the township the population was spread out, with 16.8% under the age of 18, 3.8% from 18 to 24, 25.2% from 25 to 44, 35.1% from 45 to 64, and 19.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median income for a household in the township was $30,625, and the median income for a family was $43,000. Males had a median income of $26,875 versus $14,167 for females.
