As of the [[2010 United States census|2010 census]], there were 253 people, 106 households, and 72 families living in the city. The [[population density]] was {{convert|121.6|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 115 housing units at an average density of {{convert|55.3|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 97.6% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.6% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], and 0.8% from two or more races.

There were 106 households, of which 34.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.9% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 7.5% had a female householder with no husband present, 8.5% had a male householder with no wife present, and 32.1% were non-families. 25.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.39 and the average family size was 2.81.

The median age in the city was 39.6 years. 24.1% of residents were under the age of 18; 5.8% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 33.9% were from 25 to 44; 25.6% were from 45 to 64; and 10.3% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 51.4% male and 48.6% female.

There were 107 households, out of which 35.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.8% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 4.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.9% were non-families. 26.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.36 and the average family size was 2.87.

In the city, the population was spread out, with 27.4% under the age of 18, 4.4% from 18 to 24, 28.2% from 25 to 44, 24.6% from 45 to 64, and 15.5% who were 65 years of age or older. Tower City is served by the [[Maple Valley Public School District]]. The district has two elementary schools and one high school.
