The [[population density]] was 64.3 people per square mile (24.8/km<sup>2</sup>). There were 325 housing units at an average density of 23.0 per square mile (8.9/km<sup>2</sup>). On July 12, 2007, the City Council approved the development of 3000 households. In the town the population was spread out, with 32.9% under the age of 18, 9.3% from 18 to 24, 19.6% from 25 to 44, 24.6% from 45 to 64, and 13.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females, there were 101.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.1 males. The median income for a household in the town was $34,038, and the median income for a family was $36,146. Males had a median income of $26,964 versus $20,938 for females.
