According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the town has a total area of 49.0&nbsp;square miles (126.9&nbsp;km<sup>2</sup>), of which 48.9&nbsp;square miles (126.7&nbsp;km<sup>2</sup>) is land and 0.1&nbsp;square mile (0.1&nbsp;km<sup>2</sup>) (0.10%) is water. The [[population density]] was 23.3 people per square mile (9.0/km<sup>2</sup>). There were 582 housing units at an average density of 11.9 per square mile (4.6/km<sup>2</sup>). The racial makeup of the town was 98.69% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.35% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.26% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.61% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], and 0.09% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.53% of the population.

There were 421 households, out of which 38.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.7% were couples living together and joined in either [[marriage]] or [[Civil Union|civil union]], 7.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.0% were non-families. 16.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.71 and the average family size was 3.00.

In the town, the population was spread out, with 27.6% under the age of 18, 6.8% from 18 to 24, 32.3% from 25 to 44, 23.1% from 45 to 64, and 10.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females, there were 96.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.7 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $37,202, and the median income for a family was $37,440. Males had a median income of $27,708 versus $21,008 for females.
