==History==
Taylor was founded in 1882 along the [[Transcontinental railroad|transcontinental rail line]] of the [[Northern Pacific Railway]]. The name comes from David R. As of the [[census]] of 2010, there were 148 people, 75 households and 44 families residing in the city. The [[population density]] was {{convert|296.0|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 96 housing units at an average density of {{convert|192.0|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 98.6% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.7% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], and 0.7% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]]. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.7% of the population.

There were 75 households, of which 18.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.3% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 6.7% had a female householder with no husband present, 2.7% had a male householder with no wife present, and 41.3% were non-families. 38.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 25.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.31 and the average family size was 2.86.
