The [[population density]] was {{convert|730.8|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 104 housing units at an average density of {{convert|400.0|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the village was 99.5% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]] and 0.5% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.5% of the population.

There were 82 households, of which 29.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.7% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 6.1% had a female householder with no husband present, 2.4% had a male householder with no wife present, and 37.8% were non-families. 34.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 19.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.32 and the average family size was 2.94.

The median age in the village was 45.7 years. 28.4% of residents were under the age of 18; 4.3% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 16.3% were from 25 to 44; 29.9% were from 45 to 64; and 21.1% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the village was 47.9% male and 52.1% female.

[[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.97% of the population.

There were 97 households, out of which 24.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.5% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 6.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 40.2% were non-families. 38.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 22.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.13 and the average family size was 2.78.

In the village, the population was spread out, with 22.7% under the age of 18, 3.4% from 18 to 24, 21.7% from 25 to 44, 27.1% from 45 to 64, and 25.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 46 years. For every 100 females, there were 95.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.1 males.

As of 2000 the median income for a household in the village was $21,875, and the median income for a family was $25,469. Males had a median income of $19,688 versus $14,792 for females.
