==Geography==
Strasburg is located on [[Missouri Route 58]] approximately 5.5 miles east of [[Pleasant Hill, Missouri|Pleasant Hill]]. [[Kingsville, Missouri|Kingsville]] in western [[Johnson County, Missouri|Johnson County]] is about five miles to the east on Route 58. The racial makeup of the city was 100.0% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]].

There were 54 households, of which 35.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.4% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 7.4% had a female householder with no husband present, 11.1% had a male householder with no wife present, and 24.1% were non-families. 20.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.61 and the average family size was 3.05.

The average household size was 2.67 and the average family size was 3.23.

==Junior City Council==
The Strasburg City Council established the United States' first [[Junior City Council]] in 2006, sponsored by City Council member Patricia Ford and strongly supported by Mayor Gregory McClure. In addition, State support came from District 122 [[Missouri]] House Representative Mike McGhee, who hosted a meeting with the founding council in its second year. The Council itself is composed of local youth who are elected into office. They focus on municipal issues, just as the official City Council does. Members of City council were as follows: [[Mayor]] Greg McClure, Lieutenant Mayor Gary Birge, South Ward Councilman Gary Birge, North Ward Councilman Pat Ford, South Ward Councilman Theresa Brayton, and North Ward Councilman Brian Ross.
