[[U.S. Route 61 in Minnesota|U.S. Highway 61]] and [[U.S. Route 10 in Minnesota|U.S. Highway 10]], which run concurrently through the town, serves as a main route in the community.

St. Paul Park is bordered by [[Cottage Grove, Minnesota|Cottage Grove]] to the east and [[Newport, Minnesota|Newport]] to the north.

The racial makeup of the city was 88.5% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 3.3% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.5% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 3.7% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 1.9% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 2.1% from two or more races. The median income for a household in the city was $50,805, and the median income for a family was $54,063. Males had a median income of $37,083 versus $29,143 for females.
