The northwest part of town, including the town center, is drained by Bog Brook and its tributaries, leading west to [[Stocker Brook]] in [[Grantham, New Hampshire|Grantham]] and part of the [[Sugar River (New Hampshire)|Sugar River]] watershed leading west to the [[Connecticut River]]. The southeast part of the town, including Baptist Pond and Star Lake, drains south to [[Lake Sunapee]], the headwaters of the Sugar River.
