Springdale Township has two land borders, including [[Springdale, Pennsylvania|Springdale]] and [[Cheswick, Pennsylvania|Cheswick]] to the south, [[Harmar Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania|Harmar Township]] to the west, and [[Frazer Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania|Frazier]] and [[East Deer Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania|East Deer]] townships to the north. Across the Allegheny River to the east are [[Plum, Pennsylvania|Plum]] and [[New Kensington, Pennsylvania|New Kensington]].
