The [[population density]] was {{convert|21.2|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 452 housing units at an average density of {{convert|11.3|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the town was 97.9% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.2% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], and 0.9% from two or more races.

There were 363 households, of which 22.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.1% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 8.5% had a female householder with no husband present, 4.4% had a male householder with no wife present, and 32.0% were non-families. 26.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.34 and the average family size was 2.77.

The median age in the town was 48.8 years. 19% of residents were under the age of 18; 5% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 21.4% were from 25 to 44; 35.4% were from 45 to 64; and 19.2% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the town was 50.0% male and 50.0% female.

The [[population density]] was 23.2 people per square mile (9.0/km{{sup|2}}).  There were 449 housing units at an average density of 11.1 per square mile (4.3/km{{sup|2}}).  The racial makeup of the town was 97.87% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.32% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.75% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.21% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 0.85% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.21% of the population.

There were 374 households, out of which 31.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.7% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 5.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.5% were non-families. 20.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females, there were 100.6 males.  For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.1 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $27,574, and the median income for a family was $32,500. Males had a median income of $34,821 versus $20,694 for females.
