[[Georgia State Route 16]] runs through the southern part of Sharpsburg, leading west {{convert|10|mi}} to [[Newnan, Georgia|Newnan]], the county seat, and southeast {{convert|7|mi|0}} to [[Senoia, Georgia|Senoia]]. [[Georgia State Route 54|GA 54]] leads northeast {{convert|5|mi|0}} to [[Peachtree City, Georgia|Peachtree City]].
