==Geography==
Sedgwick is in eastern Lawrence County, less than {{convert|1|mi}} west of the [[Cache River (Arkansas)|Cache River]], which forms the Lawrence County/[[Greene County, Arkansas|Greene County]] line.

[[U.S. Route 63]] passes through the town, leading northwest {{convert|10|mi|0}} to [[Hoxie, Arkansas|Hoxie]] and southeast {{convert|14|mi}} to [[Jonesboro, Arkansas|Jonesboro]]. [[Arkansas Highway 228]] leads northeast from Sedgwick {{convert|9|mi|0}} to [[U.S. Route 412]] at [[Light, Arkansas|Light]].

The racial makeup of the town was 98.21% [[Race (United States Census)|White]], 0.89% [[Race (United States Census)|Black]] or [[Race (United States Census)|African American]] and 0.89% [[Race (United States Census)|Native American]].

There were 44 households, out of which 27.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.4% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 6.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.3% were non-families. 25.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.55 and the average family size was 3.03.

In the town, the population was spread out, with 23.2% under the age of 18, 12.5% from 18 to 24, 29.5% from 25 to 44, 17.0% from 45 to 64, and 17.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females, there were 124.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 104.8 males.
