It was the location of the [[Naval Auxiliary Air Station Salton Sea]]. ==Geography== Salton Sea Beach is located along the western shore of the [[Salton Sea]], to the north of [[Salton City, California|Salton City]] and to the south of [[Desert Shores, California|Desert Shores]] along [[California State Route 86]].
