The population was 1,320 at the [[2020 United States census|2020 census]]. It is situated on [[Indian Lake (Ohio)|Indian Lake]], which has long been a popular summer resort destination.

==History==

The [[population density]] was {{convert|1495.7|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 1,144 housing units at an average density of {{convert|1230.1|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the village was 97.3% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.6% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.2% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.1% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.4% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 1.3% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.1% of the population.

The racial makeup of the village was 98.15% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.12% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.19% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.43% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.49% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 0.62% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.42% of the population.

The village of Russells Point also owns local low power [[WRPO]] (93.5 FM), operated by Gray Fox Broadcasting as its locally originating community radio station.

==Transportation==
Due to its location on the south shore of Indian Lake, Russells Point includes several highways. [[U.S. Route 33]] is the main street in Russells Point, and State Routes [[Ohio State Route 366|366]] and [[Ohio State Route 708|708]] are also important. [[Ohio State Route 720|State Route 720]] begins on the northwestern side of the village.
