Ridgeway is located at the intersection of Missouri routes [[Missouri Route A|A]] and [[Missouri Route T|T]] 2.5 miles east of [[I-35]]. [[Bethany, Missouri|Bethany]] is approximately 7 miles to the south. The [[population density]] was {{convert|380.3|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 242 housing units at an average density of {{convert|198.4|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 98.5% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.2% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.2% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.6% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], and 0.4% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.9% of the population.

The racial makeup of the city was 97.55% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.94% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.57% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], and 0.94% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 2.08% of the population.

There were 221 households, out of which 26.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.0% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 8.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 33.5% were non-families. 29.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 16.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.  The average household size was 2.40 and the average family size was 2.92.

In the city the population was spread out, with 24.0% under the age of 18, 10.6% from 18 to 24, 20.6% from 25 to 44, 24.3% from 45 to 64, and 20.6% who were 65 years of age or older.  The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females, there were 101.5 males.  For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.6 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $19,844, and the median income for a family was $26,250. Males had a median income of $27,500 versus $16,094 for females.
