==Geography==
Reidland is located in southeastern McCracken County at {{coord|37|0|41|N|88|31|18|W|type:city}}.<ref name="GR1">{{cite web|url=https://www.census.gov/geographies/reference-files/time-series/geo/gazetteer-files.html|publisher=[[United States Census Bureau]]|accessdate=2011-04-23|date=2011-02-12|title=US Gazetteer files: 2010, 2000, and 1990}}</ref> It is partially bordered to the north by the [[Tennessee River]] and partially to the south by [[Interstate 24]]. The city of Paducah is {{convert|6|mi|0}} to the northwest.

[[U.S. Route 62]] passes through the northern part of Reidland, leading northwest to Paducah and east {{convert|10|mi|0}} to [[Calvert City, Kentucky|Calvert City]]. [[U.S. Route 68]] has its western terminus in Reidland at US 62, and leads east-southeast {{convert|71|mi}} to [[Hopkinsville, Kentucky|Hopkinsville]]. [[U.S. Route 60]] meets US 62 along the northern edge of Reidland; US 60 leads northwest to Paducah and northeast across the Tennessee River {{convert|4|mi|0}} to [[Ledbetter, Kentucky|Ledbetter]] and {{convert|12|mi}} to [[Smithland, Kentucky|Smithland]].

The population density was {{convert|907.2|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. There were 1,937 housing units at an average density of {{convert|403.7|/sqmi|/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. The racial makeup of the CDP was 97.98% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.30% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.14% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.71% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.02% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.28% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 0.57% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.64% of the population.

There were 1,793 households, out of which 32.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.8% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 7.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.7% were non-families. 21.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.42 and the average family size was 2.81.

In the CDP, the population was spread out, with 22.4% under the age of 18, 6.1% from 18 to 24, 27.2% from 25 to 44, 28.2% from 45 to 64, and 16.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females, there were 94.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.1 males.

The median income for a household in the CDP was $48,341, and the median income for a family was $54,622. Males had a median income of $45,459 versus $21,915 for females. About 2.9% of families and 4.4% of the population were below the [[poverty line]], including 4.3% of those under age 18 and 7.1% of those age 65 or over.
