==Geography==
Redlands is in central Mesa County, lying on the southwest side of the [[Colorado River]] between the city of Grand Junction to the east and the city of [[Fruita, Colorado|Fruita]] to the northwest.

The Redlands CDP has an area of {{convert|13.4|sqmi}}, including {{convert|0.54|sqmi|2}} of water (4.0% of the CDP area).<ref name="CenPopGazetteer2022"/>

There were 3,137 households, out of which 29.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 72.5% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 4.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.1% were non-families. 16.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.  The average household size was 2.55 and the average family size was 2.85.

In the CDP, the population was spread out, with 22.6% under the age of 18, 5.1% from 18 to 24, 20.7% from 25 to 44, 32.0% from 45 to 64, and 19.6% who were 65 years of age or older.  The median age was 46 years. For every 100 females, there were 99.0 males.  For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.2 males.

The median income for a household in the CDP was $53,533, and the median income for a family was $40,667. Males had a median income of $36,250 versus $27,237 for females.
