Raymond High School consolidated with [[Clara City, Minnesota|Clara City]] and [[Maynard, Minnesota|Maynard]] High Schools in the late 1980s to create the MACCRAY (Maynard-Clara City-Raymond Independent School District).

==History==

The racial makeup of the city was 95.89% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.12% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.37% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 2.37% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 1.25% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 4.36% of the population.

There were 310 households, out of which 37.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.7% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 10.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.1% were non-families. 25.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 14.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.  The average household size was 2.59 and the average family size was 3.08.

In the city, the population was spread out, with 30.8% under the age of 18, 6.8% from 18 to 24, 27.9% from 25 to 44, 18.8% from 45 to 64, and 15.7% who were 65 years of age or older.  The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females, there were 97.8 males.  For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.4 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $34,083, and the median income for a family was $40,865. Males had a median income of $28,092 versus $18,676 for females.
