The racial makeup was 89.78% (5,875) [[White (U.S. Census)|white]], 0.46% (30) [[African American (U.S. Census)|black or African-American]], 0.46% (30) [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.4% (26) [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.03% (2) [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 2.6% (170) from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 6.28% (411) from two or more races.
