The [[population density]] was 1,835.3 inhabitants per square mile (708.6/km<sup>2</sup>). There were 1,023 housing units at an average density of 693.0 per square mile (267.6/km<sup>2</sup>). The [[Race and ethnicity in the United States census|racial]] makeup of the community was 84.9% [[White Americans|White]], 7.3% [[African Americans|Black or African American]], 0.1% [[Native Americans in the United States|Native American]], 0.4% [[Asian Americans|Asian]], 0.0% [[Pacific Islander Americans|Pacific Islander]], 0.7% from other races and 6.5% from two or more races. [[Hispanic and Latino Americans|Hispanic or Latino]] persons of any race comprised 3.7% of the population.

The median age in the community was 33.9 years. 33.8% of the residents were under the age of 20; 3.7% were between the ages of 20 and 24; 27.6% were from 25 and 44; 22.6% were from 45 and 64; and 12.3% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the community was 48.2% male and 51.8% female.

The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.96% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.55% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.32% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.60% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.55% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 1.01% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.15% of the population.

The median income for a household in the CDP was $51,000, and the median income for a family was $55,341. Males had a median income of $39,152 versus $27,456 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $18,649. None of the families and 1.0% of the population were living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and none of those over 64.

== Education ==
Park View is part of the North Scott School District. Elementary-aged students from the area attend Neil Armstrong Elementary. Junior high and high school students attend the North Scott Junior High and North Scott High School located in [[Eldridge, Iowa|Eldridge]].

== Government ==
Park View is unincorporated at this time.  It is primarily governed by the Scott County Government.
