The [[population density]] was {{convert|529.2|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 117 housing units at an average density of {{convert|243.8|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 98.0% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]] and 2.0% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.8% of the population.

There were 111 households, of which 26.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 44.1% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 8.1% had a female householder with no husband present, 0.9% had a male householder with no wife present, and 46.8% were non-families. 41.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.06 and the average family size was 2.83.

The median age in the city was 46.8 years. 20.9% of residents were under the age of 18; 3.9% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 23.6% were from 25 to 44; 25.6% were from 45 to 64; and 26% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 48.8% male and 51.2% female.

There were 109 housing units at an average density of {{convert|310.6|/sqmi|/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}.  The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]]. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.47% of the population.

There were 100 households, out of which 23.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.0% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 5.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.0% were non-families. 32.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 26.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.  The average household size was 2.12 and the average family size was 2.63.

In the city, the population was spread out, with 18.9% under the age of 18, 4.7% from 18 to 24, 20.3% from 25 to 44, 23.1% from 45 to 64, and 33.0% who were 65 years of age or older.  The median age was 48 years. For every 100 females, there were 98.1 males.  For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87.0 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $41,875, and the median income for a family was $57,500. Males had a median income of $40,893 versus $23,750 for females. The [[per capita income]] for the city was $20,214.  None of the families and 5.0% of the population were living below the [[poverty line]], including no under eighteens and 14.7% of those over 64.
