According to the [[Köppen climate classification]] system, North Beach Haven has a [[humid subtropical climate]] (''Cfa'') with hot, moderately humid summers, cool winters and year-around precipitation. Cfa climates are characterized by all months having an average mean temperature above {{convert|32.0|F|C}}, at least four months with an average mean temperature at or above {{convert|50.0|F|C}}, at least one month with an average mean temperature at or above {{convert|71.6|F|C}} and no significant precipitation difference between seasons. During the summer months in North Beach Haven, a cooling afternoon [[sea breeze]] is present on most days, but episodes of extreme heat and humidity can occur with [[heat index]] values at or above {{convert|95.0|F|C}}. During the winter months, episodes of extreme cold and wind can occur with [[wind chill]] values below {{convert|0.0|F|C}}. The [[2010 United States census]] counted 2,235 people, 1,115 households, and 673 families in the CDP. The [[population density]] was {{convert|1231.7|/mi2|/km2|disp=preunit|people&nbsp;|people|}}. There were 6,214 housing units at an average density of {{convert|3424.5|/mi2|/km2|disp=preunit|units&nbsp;|units|}}. The racial makeup was 96.47% (2,156) [[White (U.S. census)|White]], 0.18% (4) [[Black (U.S. census)|Black or African American]], 0.04% (1) [[Native American (U.S. census)|Native American]], 0.49% (11) [[Asian (U.S. census)|Asian]], 0.00% (0) [[Pacific Islander (U.S. census)|Pacific Islander]], 2.10% (47) from [[Race and ethnicity in the United States census#Race|other races]], and 0.72% (16) from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. census)|Hispanic or Latino]] of any race were 5.41% (121) of the population.<ref name=Census2010/>

Of the 1,115 households, 10.0% had children under the age of 18; 51.9% were married couples living together; 5.4% had a female householder with no husband present and 39.6% were non-families. Of all households, 35.5% were made up of individuals and 19.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. There were 1,208 households, out of which 13.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.5% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 7.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.1% were non-families. 35.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 20.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.01 and the average family size was 2.55.<ref name=Census2000/>

In the CDP the population was spread out, with 12.7% under the age of 18, 4.4% from 18 to 24, 18.8% from 25 to 44, 28.6% from 45 to 64, and 35.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 56 years. For every 100 females, there were 89.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87.4 males.<ref name=Census2000/>

The median income for a household in the CDP was $44,643, and the median income for a family was $55,833. Males had a median income of $41,071 versus $32,361 for females.
