[[Interstate 494]] and [[U.S. Route 10 in Minnesota|U.S. Routes 10]] and [[U.S. Route 61 in Minnesota|61]] serve as the main routes in the community.

The racial makeup of the city was 85.0% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 5.0% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.7% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 3.8% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.1% [[Race (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 2.6% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 2.6% from two or more races. The racial makeup of the city was 91.76% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.70% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.92% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 1.48% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.11% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 1.94% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 2.10% from two or more races.
