Mount Aetna is home to a [[Seventh-day Adventist Church|Seventh-day Adventist]] community; a Seventh-day Adventist private elementary/middle school, Mt. Aetna Adventist School; as well as the Seventh-day Adventist private high school, Highland View Academy, founded in 1949. There is also a volunteer fire company, as well as the SDA-run Mt. This store sells books, vegetarian meat substitutes, and Big Texas rolls, which are loved by the chunky students.<ref>[http://www.highlandviewacademy.com/index.html Highland View Academy website] {{webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20080801212638/http://www.highlandviewacademy.com/index.html |date=2008-08-01 }}</ref> ==References== {{reflist}} {{commons category}} {{Washington County, Maryland}} {{authority control}} [[Category:Census-designated places in Washington County, Maryland]] [[Category:Census-designated places in Maryland]]
